QHHT Frequently Asked Questions

Before Your Session

Q: Can I book a session with you without a QHHT Discovery Call?

No, before booking in a QHHT session with you, we will agree a date and time for a free, no-obligation QHHT Discovery Call. This is an opportunity for you to to ask questions or to simply find out whether QHHT is right for you. It also allows me to ask you some questions about what you would like to gain from the experience. My aim is for you to feel informed, comfortable and confident before booking,

Q:  Do I need to believe in past lives?

A:   No. Many people approach QHHT with curiosity rather than certainty. Whether you view the experience as past lives, symbolism or something else entirely, the session can still offer valuable personal insights.

Q:  Can everyone be hypnotised?

A:   Most people can enter a hypnotic state when they feel comfortable, safe and willing to participate. QHHT uses a natural state of deep relaxation rather than mind control, and you remain aware throughout the experience.

Q:  Will I lose control or reveal personal secrets?

A:   No. You remain aware and in control throughout your session. You cannot be made to say or do anything against your wishes.

Q:  What if I can't relax?

A:   Feeling a little nervous is completely normal. Part of my role is to help you feel comfortable before we begin. We take our time, and there is no pressure to "perform." If appropriate, gentle relaxation techniques may be used beforehand to help you settle.

Q:  How should I prepare?

You'll receive detailed preparation guidance before your appointment, including how to create your list of questions, what to bring, and how to prepare for the day.

During Your Session

Q:  How long does a QHHT session take?

A:   A full session typically lasts between 4 and 6 hours, allowing plenty of time for discussion, hypnosis and communication with your Higher Self.

Q:  Will my session be recorded?

A:   Yes. Your hypnosis session is audio recorded so you can revisit the guidance afterwards. Many clients find they notice new details each time they listen.

Q:  Can I ask any questions?

A:   Yes. You're welcome to ask about any aspect of your life, including health, relationships, career, life purpose or spiritual development. While every effort is made to ask all of your questions, the number covered will depend on the flow of the session.

Q:  Will I definitely receive answers to all my questions?

A:   Not necessarily. Every session unfolds differently. Sometimes the information received focuses on what your Higher Self considers most important at that time.

After Your Session

Q:  What happens after the session?

A:   Many clients find they continue to reflect on their experience for days or weeks afterwards. Listening to your recording can often reveal additional insights that weren't fully appreciated during the session.

Q:  How many sessions will I need?

A:   Most people only have one QHHT session, as the technique is designed to be a complete experience. Some clients choose to return in the future if they feel genuinely called to explore new questions or life circumstances.

Practical Questions

Q:  What should I wear?

A:   Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully for an extended period.

Q:  Can I bring someone with me?

A:   You're welcome to bring someone with you to your appointment if you wish. Once your QHHT session begins, however, it will be just you and me, allowing you to relax fully in a private and distraction-free environment. Your companion will therefore need to make alternative arrangements until your session has concluded.

Q:  Is QHHT suitable for everyone?

A:   QHHT may not be appropriate for everyone. During the QHHT Discovery Call, we'll discuss your circumstances to ensure the session is suitable for you. If I don't believe QHHT is the right approach, I'll explain why and discuss other options where appropriate.

Q:  Is QHHT a substitute for medical or psychological treatment?

A:   No. QHHT is a complementary spiritual and wellbeing modality and is not intended to diagnose, treat or replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care. If you have concerns about your health, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Q: Will I be asleep or awake during the session?

A: You'll be in a deeply relaxed state but still aware. Many clients feel conscious, but are connected to a deeper part of themselves that speaks and reveals insights.

Q: Can QHHT® be combined with other healing methods?

A: QHHT® was developed by Dolores Cannon as a complete, stand-alone modality, and I honour that philosophy in my practice. However, if a client is feeling particularly anxious or finds it difficult to relax, I may, where appropriate, offer a short Reiki session or guided visualisation beforehand to help them feel calm and settled before we begin the QHHT process.

Q:  What if nothing happens?

A:  Many people arrive concerned that they won't "go deep enough" or that they won't experience anything at all. In reality, the hypnosis used in QHHT is a gentle, natural state of focused relaxation. Every experience is unique. Some people receive vivid imagery, while others experience subtle impressions, feelings or simply a quiet knowing. There is no "right" way to experience a session, and comparison with others is rarely helpful.

Q: What if I don’t see or feel anything?

A: I am trained to help you relax and let go. With practice and openness, nearly all clients are able to connect and experience meaningful experiences.
